Advanced Surgical Interventions (Safety First & Result Driven)
“Technology is a tool—not a substitute for surgical judgment.”
When conservative options fail to provide lasting relief or a condition impairs neurological function, Dr. Ripul Panchal and our surgical specialists utilize industry-leading technology to restore your alignment and mobility.
AI & Emerging Technologies
Technology doesn’t replace surgical judgement. It enhances it.
UNiD Rod
UNiD rods are patient-specific spinal rods shaped before surgery to match the alignment planned for each patient. The rod’s contour is designed from preoperative imaging and planning software instead of being bent by hand in the operating room, helping the surgeon carry out the planned correction.
Patient-Specific Implant
Patient-specific implants are designed from a patient’s own CT scans so the implant matches their anatomy. These 3D-printed devices, such as custom interbody cages, are planned before surgery to fit the disc space precisely and support alignment and fusion.
Robotics & Navigation
Robotic-Assisted Surgery
Technology that can assist with planning and surgical execution in appropriately selected procedures.
Virtual Reality & Computer-Assisted Navigation
Advanced navigation systems can provide surgeons with detailed anatomical information during surgery.
Virtual reality and 3D visualization tools let the surgical team view a patient’s anatomy in three dimensions before and during surgery, helping plan implant placement and the safest path to the spine.
3D Surgical Planning
Three-dimensional visualization can assist with planning complex procedures and understanding individual anatomy.
Surgical Technology We Use
Computer-Assisted Surgery
Computer-Assisted Surgery, also known as CAS, is a modern surgical technique that utilizes computer technology to enhance precision and accuracy during surgical procedures.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Minimally Invasive Surgery is a surgical technique that allows for smaller incisions and less disruption to surrounding tissues compared to traditional open surgery.
Laser Disc Repair
Laser Disc Repair, also known as Laser Disc Decompression, is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that uses laser technology to treat herniated or bulging discs in the spine.
Motion Preservation / Disc Replacement
Motion Preservation/Disc Replacement is a surgical procedure designed to treat degenerative disc disease by replacing a damaged spinal disc with an artificial disc.
